(01)The challenge
Planners were sizing teams in spreadsheets: forecasts in one file, headcount in another, Erlang maths in a third. Shortfalls only showed up once service levels were already slipping — too late to hire and train anyone.

Modelled capacity the way planners think about it: from contacts to required hours to FTE, with Erlang C per interval and every layer of shrinkage — and every step of the maths visible.

Designed a week-by-week view that flags which lines miss their service level, by how much and why, with the fixes that can still land in time: overtime, transfers or a hire class.

Built scenarios to test fixes without touching the live plan, hire classes that work backwards from the shortfall date, Excel paste-in for team data and a sync with Planifizer.
